In the heart of the ongoing Syrian crisis, the (NSPPL) stands as a beacon of hope for those caught in the crossfire of conflict and natural disasters. With a legacy of dedicated service since 2013, our mission is to rehabilitate and reintegrate vulnerable groups, including individuals with disabilities, into society. Our aim is to lead positive societal transformations and empower those affected to contribute meaningfully to their communities.
The Crisis Continues
Thirteen years into the Syrian conflict, the situation remains dire. The February 2024 earthquake further devastated the region, exacerbating the already critical need for medical, relief, and educational services. With 16.7 million people in need of assistance, the highest number since the crisis began, the urgency for our work has never been greater.
How NSPPL Makes a Difference
Our approach is holistic, focusing not just on the physical, but also the psychological rehabilitation of those affected by war and disaster. With centers in both Syria and Turkey, we are uniquely positioned to address the needs of amputees and those requiring orthotics due to injuries or congenital conditions. Our project aims to alleviate suffering by providing prosthetics and orthotic devices, ensuring individuals can return to their daily lives and activities.
Our Goal: Rebuilding Lives
Our project’s objective is clear: to support the reintegration of 861 individuals, including 273 children, back into society. By manufacturing and maintaining 552 prosthetic limbs and 364 orthotic devices, we strive to give back independence and hope to those who have lost so much.
